Assoc. Prof. Eric Zerrudo delivered one of the plenary lectures in the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) assembly on July 29, 2022.
The two (2) day IBP assembly titled “Mulat at Malay : A two-part Conference on Developing Cultural Sensitivity and Cultural Awareness” was in celebration of the Cultural Consciousness month which is usually celebrated during the month of July. As a specialist on heritage conservation and sustainable development, he delivered his talk “Heritage Makakain Ba Yan? Heritage in Developing Economies”.
Other speakers were Dr. Ferdinand Lopez of University of Toronto, Atty. Emil Samaniego of Abad Alcantara and Associates, Dr. Xiao Chua of De la Salle University, Dr. Crisanta “Marot” Nelmida-Flores of the University of the Philippines, and Prof. Felipe de Leon Jr. of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. The activity was a collaborative initiative of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts-Philippine Cultural Education Program (NCCA-PCEP) and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
