To ensure the safety of stakeholders and to promote the responsible use of materials for academic and research purposes, the University has the Laboratory Equipment and Supplies Office, which manages the and distribution of equipment and supplies, with the intent of ensuring safety, reducing waste, and ensuring sustainability.

Being a Hazardous Wastes Generator, the University is regulated by the , to which it regularly reports.
