Dr. Leonid D. Zamora is an Assistant Professor I at the Department of Medicine, UST Faculty of Medicine & Surgery. He graduated from the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, earning a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2006. Dr. Zamora completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Makati Medical Center from 2009 to 2011. Following this, he pursued a fellowship program focused on Rheumatology, Clinical Immunology, and Osteoporosis at the UST Hospital (USTH) from 2013 to 2015. The Research Center for Health Sciences has appointed Dr. Zamora as the Research Coordinator for the Department of Medicine. He is also an Alternate Member of the Research and Ethics Board of the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. Additionally, he is the Assistant Research Head for the Department of Medicine. Moreover, he holds the position of the Coordinator for Research at the Department of Medical Education & Research (DMER). He serves as the Adviser for Research at the Department of Internal Medicine of USTH. Furthermore, he is the Assistant Training Officer in USTH Rheumatology Fellowship Training. Dr. Zamora is a Fellow of the Philippine College of Physicians and the Philippine Rheumatology Association. He is also a member of the Asia-Pacific Lupus Collaboration, the Asia Pacific League for Associations of Rheumatology (APLAR) Young Rheumatologists, and the APLAR SLE Special Interest Group. Dr. Zamora holds the position of the head of research of the Philippine Rheumatology Association SLE-Special Interest Group.
