Professor Clarissa Mendoza Mendoza, MD, FPCP, FPCC, MBA-Entrepreneurship, holds the prestigious position of Professor 4 in the Department of Pharmacology and the Department of Medicine at UST Faculty of Medicine & Surgery. Her administrative prowess is evident as the Chair of the Department of Pharmacology at UST Faculty of Medicine & Surgery, Chair of the Section of Cardiology at UST Hospital, and President of both the Maritime Clinics and Doctors鈥� Association of the Philippines and the Philippine Society of Maritime Health Physicians. Additionally, she contributes to healthcare standards as a member of the Standards Committee for the National Internship Program. Professor Mendoza’s scholarly interests span Cardiology, Herbal Plants, Alternative Medicine, Q Methodology, Medical Education, and Maritime Health. Her extensive education includes an MBA in Entrepreneurship from UST Graduate School, a Fellowship in Cardiology at UST Hospital, a Residency in Internal Medicine at UST Hospital, a Doctor of Medicine from UST Faculty of Medicine & Surgery, and a BS in General Accelerated from the University of Santo Tomas. Recognized for her excellence, Professor Mendoza received the Distinguished Teacher Award from the Philippine Heart Association in 2017 and secured 3rd Place in the Servier Research Award from the Philippine Heart Association in 2016. She has served as the Chair of the Council on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Philippine Heart Association and maintains affiliations with esteemed organizations such as the Philippine College of Physicians, the Philippine Heart Association, the Philippine Society of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology, and the Philippine Medical Association. Her hospital affiliations include UST Hospital and the Hospital of the Infant Jesus.听
