Representatives of the Mahidol University, Thailand’s Medical Technology department benchmarked with the UST Faculty of Pharmacy – Department of Medical Technology last April 30, 2018, focusing on quality assurance procedures.
The visit included a meeting with Asst. Prof. Marife V. Narcida, MSc, Director of the Academic Programs Quality Assurance Office, which harmonizes UST’s efforts toward academic programs assessment / accreditation, particularly the ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Programme Assessment.
Mahidol University is one of UST’s longstanding partners in ASEAN, and it is a partner institution for activities like student and faculty exchange, as well as joint academic and scientific activities. Recently, it was instrumental in the initial offering of the Doctor of Philosophy, major in Medical Technology program at the Graduate School.
