Licup heads national UAP student auxiliary

Zion Enrico Licup, a fourth-year student of the UST College of Architecture, has been named the National President of the United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary.

On September 25, 2021, UAPSA conducted the national induction ceremony titled “Trailblaze: Pioneering Quintessence” through Zoom for the national posts of the student organization. UAPSA is the duly recognized student organization of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), the accredited professional organization of architects.

Other Thomasian Architecture students who hold national posts are: Nicole Angela Tenoso (Chair, Committee on Awards), Danielle Anne Balatan (Chair, Committee on Ways and Means), Franchezka Abad (Committee on Ways and Means Deputy), Hannah Mae Gutierrez (Director for National Architecture Week), and Colleen Deirde Villacroza (Graphics Head) are officers of the said organization. Throughout the country, UAPSA has active chapters from 96 architecture schools with around 21000 members.

UST College of Architecture faculty Ar. Armando Eugene C. De Guzman III, UAP National President, also graced the induction ceremony.
