Six students from the UST Junior High School emerged victorious in the recently concluded 2019 Thailand International Mathematics Olympiad Philippines Heat which was held on October 27, 2019 at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. Silver Medalists were: Fatma Zahra S. Abdulrahman (St. Bertrand), Lorraine Joy L. Calica (St. Clement), and Lance Joel R. Astorga (St. Catherine). The Bronze Medalists were: Raven Angela O. Dumlao (St. Andrew), James Alistair I. Meñez (St. Aurea), and Jenielyn L. Policarpio (St. Diana).
These student-qualifiers will represent UST and the Philippines in the Thailand International Math Olympiad Finals Heat to be held in Chiang-Mai, Thailand in April 2020.
