Agpasa’s winning composition premieres at Busan International Choral Festival and Competition

Mr. Mark Raeniel Agpasa’s winning composition “Jubilate Deo” was performed for the first time during the 15th Busan International Choral Festival and Competition held on the same day in South Korea. He received his trophy and certificate for winning first place at the Busan International Choral Festival and Competition on October 19, 2019.

 Jubilate Deo is a Latin psalm that praises and glorifies the Lord. A choral piece setting for eight voices, the song was performed at the Busan Cinema Center by Ligao National High School Voice Chorale under the baton of Mr. Celger V. Venzon.      Agpasa, a UST graduate student and an alumnus of the UST Conservatory of Music,  concurrently serves as the assistant musical director of the UST Singers and the conductor of the UST Chorus of Arts and Letters.
