Last January 29, 2016, Aeta children and their parents from partner Aeta communities went to the University of Santo Tomas and joined in the weeklong festivities of the annual Pistang Tomas. The annual feast is organized by the Simbahayan Community Development Office, which organized a bazaar of products from the University’s different partner communities. The Thomasian family supported the partner communities through the purchase of their products.
The Aeta children were brought to the Plaza Mayor, where they were able to play games facilitated by volunteer students from the different faculties, colleges, institutes, and schools.
